Beverly Stansbury . . .

Beverly is the owner and director of our academy. She has also coached the Wright Stage University-Lake Campus Dance Team, taught preschool hip hop dance at Kids Kastle in Celina, and coaches the feature twirler at Parkway High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Bowling Green State University where she had a concentration in Dance Education. She twirled for the Falcon Marching Band from 1979-1984 and was the head twirler from 1983-1984. She has also performed with the band at the Detroit Lions NFL Football Game as well as has performed at two NFL Super Bowl Halftime Shows. Beverly was a member of the Dean's Advisory Council and Phi Beta Lambda, where she was awarded the PBL Future Business Teacher Award for Ohio in 1984. 

After graduation, Beverly taught Business Education for eleven years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where she was the FBLA advisor. She choreographed, taught, and coached several high school dance and drill teams as well as the "Genesis" Winterguard team, the Tidal Wave Twirlers, and Dancers of Lauderhill.

We are proud to announce that our Dance Team was awarded the following: 2022 Overall National "Most Outstanding Team" Awards for their Sr Pom as well as their Elite Dance Team Show choreography and 18 National Team Awards; 2022 Overall National "Most Outstanding Team Awards for their Sr Pom as well as Elite Dance Team and 26 National Team Awards; 2021 Overall Regional "Most Outstanding" Team Title as well as 25 Regional Team Championship Titles in dance, pom, baton twirling and show divisions. They were also awarded National "Most Outstanding" Dance Team in 2017-2019 and performed at the DMA National Ceremonies as well has been awarded numerous National Championship Titles. Her teams have traveled to Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, W Virginia and Mason, Ohio for other Regional/National Championships. Students have performed on the Carnival Cruise Ship "Celebration", Super Bowl Pre-game Show, NFL Miami Dolphin Pre-game Show and some students have gone on to compete in the Miss Ohio Pageant, twirlers with college bands, scholarships for college sports, performed with University Dance Alliance and have opened up their own dance studios. Her college dance team was awarded the championship title in the collegiate dance team "Hip Hop" division at JamFest Super Nationals 2011 held in Covington, Kentucky.

 

Beverly also teaches at several dance and baton twirling camps and clinics and judges at several local, state, regional and national competitions. She has also directed local competitions in Florida as well as hosted the Ohio State Championships and directs the Superstar Summer Camp each year. She was the 2013 Disney Dazzle choreographer for the Celina High School Choir Show for the fall. She is a certified DMA "Gold Seal" Judge. Her studio was recently awarded the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2021 Best of Celina Awards in Dance Studio or School. 

 

Beverly opened the academy in 1995 and has developed a program consistent with serious performing arts studies. With her dedication to professional training, the academy has grown by leaps and bounds. She has set herself and the academy apart by its philosophy and its standard of excellence

Jill Faulkner

Miss Jill is our assistant coach to our Baton Twirlers & Superstars! She was a Majorette for Coastal Carolina University; taught private baton lessons for the Carolina Dynamics; Superstar Dancer & Twirler Alumni at Center Stage; Nursing Degree and married and has two sweet little kiddos. She trained and competed as a Center Stage Superstar from 1996-2010 as a team member & soloist.

Ariel Edwards

Ariel Edwards is a 2014 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in Dance Education and Performance. She has performed for several years with the university's dance troupe from 2011-2014. Prior to that, she trained and competed as a Center Stage Superstar from 1995-2010. She previously worked with our Superstar Dance Teams (Junior & Senior Divisions) as a master teacher and choreographed the 2019 National "Most Outstanding" Dance Team Lyrical routine this past  season. Her choreography has won numerous state and national championship titles as well as overall National Outstanding Team Awards. She currently resides in Florida
